It feels like something is missing in my life.  I have emptiness that no matter how much fun I’m having it’s still there.  When I go to bed or throughout the day sometimes I just want to cry sometimes.  I don’t even know why I’m crying.  Little things make me crack and just start crying and I can never explain it.  Also I feel like my relationship could be a lot stronger.  I just wish that we could just sit and talk forever that’s what I want from my parents is be able to talk and become closer with each other and be able to touch each others lives.

Dear Friend…I wonder if instead of thinking you are missing something, that maybe you just haven’t discovered it yet.  Maybe what you are missing is really something that is right there in front of you and you are distracted to look the other way.  Maybe you are missing a closer relationship with God and music and friends are distracting you, maybe you want a closer relationship with your parents, but never let them know how you feel and want to get closer to them, or maybe you desire a really good friend, but just forgot to ask someone how they are.  If you feel something is missing, then pray about what that is and ask God to help you “discover it”

Also, remember the stage of growth you are going through.  Llke it or not God created teens to go through some of the most drastic “chemical changes” in our bodies in preparation for adulthood.  Common among “all” kids your age are thoughts of feeling down, depressed, unloved, unpopular, followed by awesome happiness.  Although that may be normal, it doesn’t make you feel any better.  REACH OUT!  Family, friends, pastors, teachers, anyone who is willing to listen can often lighten the load, but the best is God who is there 24/7!  You are valuable, and we love you!  You are in our prayers!

Matthew 11:29
29Take my yoke upon you and learn from me, for I am gentle and humble in heart, and you will find rest for your souls.
